Lukasz Szydlowski – Biology, graduation in 2010 – expedition leader, medical officer
Lukasz was responsible for organisation and the core planning of the expedition. He is keen on fish studies. He has undergone the Wilderness Medical Training course thus he was responsible for medical issues during the expedition. He also speaks Russian fluently.

Anna Ermakowa – Biology, graduation in 2010 – local coordinator, 2
nd medical officer
Anna is a native Russian, with lots of scientific contacts in Russia, which made her our local coordinator and interpreter. She was also doing research in national park in Russia in 2007 as a summer project. She attended the WMT course, thus she was the 2
nd medical officer.

Marta Sarzynska – Biology and Informatics, graduation in 2010 – logistics, scientific officer
Marta is very enthusiastic and committed member of the team. She was awarded The School of Biological Sciences Scholarship for the results achieved in her 1
st year. Before an expedition she has been to India on a research project which prepared her in terms of laboratory work .

Piotr Gierszewski – Molecular Biology, graduation in 2010 – scientific, equipment officer and tresurer
Piotr is very hard working and reliable individual. Before the project, he has been on a summer placement in UCL Structural and Molecular Research Department, which has enriched his laboratory skills. He is working on and administrating our expedition's website.

Angela Thomas – Human Geography, graduation in 2010 – fieldwork officer
Apart from studying Geography, Angela is interested in marine biology. She was working as a volunteer in Blue planet aquarium (the biggest aquarium in Europe), participating in a Seahorse husbandry programme. She has also done fieldwork studies on fungi.
